My Hobby

There are some habit that people always do, and they like to do it everyday. It’s called hobby. My hobby is singing, listening to music, reading (especially novel and comic), writing, and watching movie. I will tell you about that one by one.

Actually, I don’t know why I like to sing. But, since I was child, I had already to sing some songs that I like. I learn about singing technic from the singing competitions on tv. I practice what I learns in my room with the close door. I takes some ballad songs and sing it until I think I singing like the own singer. It’s make me satisfied. In 2009, I followed the singing competitions with my friend. We sing a song from The Virgin, Cinta Terlarang, with acoustic version. At last, we got the third position from seven finalists. In 2010, I followed the singing competitions for celebrating English Letter’s anniversary. But, I failed. I think, it’s because of the song wasn’t suitable with my voice’s character, and I just learn it five hours. But, whatever happened, it’s not make me desperate to following the singing competitions in another day.

Except singing, I’d like to listen music, too. I plays many songs in my handphone when I goes to university or another place. I also listen to the music before I sleep. But, it’s make my mother complain. There are more than 100 songs in my handphone. Not only Indonesian songs, but west songs and Korean songs, too. Actually, I prefer ballad music than up beat music. I like to listen new songs. If I love the song, I start to searching the lyric. I don’t care where is the song come from,  if I like it, I will listen it many times until I bored. Music make I enjoying my life.

My other hobbies is reading, writing, and watching movie. Usually, I reading novels. My favourite theme is about youth. I think, young people’s story is colourful. So, I never boring to read it. I also writing story. I make some short stories when I was in junior high school. One of that, I sent to a magazine. Now, I prefer to write novel than short story. I ever sent one of my novels to a competition of Islamic novel which is organized by religion department (DEPAG). But, I failed. Now, I write some novels that I will to send it to a publisher.

About watching movie, I usually watching Hollywood and Korean drama. I prefer action genre than drama for Hollywood. About Korean drama, I like to watch it because, the drama has various stories and the episode is about 16 till 50. It’s different with sinetron that has many episodes. So, I never bored to watch it.
